When Isaac Newton was in his early twenties, in 1665, a great plague hit London. To prevent the plague from spreading further, London city was locked down. Newton was studying at Trinity College, Cambridge and the school sent all it's students home. Over one hundred people died because of this epidemic. Was Newton stressed during this quarantine? Perhaps not . It was during this time that Newton got still and concentrated more on his deeper understanding about scientific theories. He wrote papers that became the early calculus , discovered differential and integral calculus and formulated a theory of Universal gravitation .
