Does God base on what you do to love you?

God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do. I believe in God as I believe that that the sun has risen; not only because I see it , but because by it I see everything else. Knowing that God is there for me , that He knows and loves me personally. Knowing that God is there for each one of us , that He knows us and loves us; we can place our trust in him. Like Janet Kataaha Museveni said in her book 'my life's journey, the same thing is happening in my area. "During my teenage years, there was a new movement within the Christian circles that called itself the 'Re-awakened' This group believed that a person could not profess to be a Christian unless they adhered to strict codes of conduct such as wearing long dresses for women, no jewellery and cutting their hair very short. To me, this group seemed to focus more on outward observances than on the condition of one's heart and they were very critical of other Christians who didn't agree with these standards . I recall that many young people were discouraged from having anything to do with God and Christianity because the God that was preached by these groups seemed like a harsh judgemental God who was just waiting to see you fall or make a mistake so that He could punish you".  Please religious leaders, kindly use your spiritual knowledge to strengthen other's faith Not to disarm it . Deuteronomy 7:7 " The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples , for you were the fewest of all peoples"  Deu7:8 " but it is because the Lord loves you and is keeping the oath the He swore to your Fathers , that the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt ".   John 15: 16 "You didn't choose me but I chose you and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He gives to you" Isaiah 49-51 " Before I was born the Lord chose me to serve him. He appointed me by name. He hid me in the palm of His hand. He took good care of me and kept me safe. The Lord formed me in my mother's body to be His servant",the Lord answers " Can a mother forget the baby who is nursing at her breast? Can she stop showing her tender love to the child who was born to her? She might forget her child, but I will not forget you"
